Thank you in advance for taking the time to visit both our website and EBAY store. We hope you find the various links both informative and fun. Given that 1 in every 150 children are now currently diagnosed with autism, having a sense of community and the chance to make a difference to those not as fortunate as ourselves is so important!
You can make a difference by volunteering for the Ascent Youth Alliance to Battle Autism (AYABA) Program (please click on the link to the left for the Ascent Youth Alliance for more information on how to volunteer). In short, the AYABA Program is an ever growing group of over 100 elementary, middle, high school and college students in the NY Metropolitan area who perform easy, fun and rewarding community service.
Our main event is the Winter 2008 AYABA Awareness, Tolerance and Acceptance Sports and Entertainment Student Volunteer Fundraiser. As a small token of thanks from the parents of children who benefit from the seven (7) amazing autism related non-profits that are the beneficiaries of the event, all certified student volunteers will:
* Receive 2 tickets to either the Mets vs. Reds Autism Awareness Day
game on May 10th or the Yanks vs. Tigers game on May 1;
* participate in the AYABA Sports & Entertainment Memorabilia
Rewards Program (which has 115 hand signed pieces of
memorabilia and 65 pairs of Mets & Yankees tickets to be given
during 2008 to our volunteers based on their dedication,
passion, commitment and performance in impacting the lives of
children with autism);
* Receive an executive title to be prouldy displayed on their future
college application and job resume; and
* Receive a plaque acknowledging their accomplishments in making a
difference for children with autism
It is our belief that in its own small way, the student volunteers of the AYABA are helping local children impacted by autism reach their full potential…by not only raising funds necessary for their education and enhancement of their socialization skills but by promoting awareness, tolerance and acceptance as well.
Our names are Sean, Ryan and Kyle, and we attend school in Syosset on Long Island. Our younger brother Conor is an unbelievable kid who attended the Ascent School for Autism for the past 5.5 years and now, due in large part to the generosity of our local community and people such as you, he is a full-time student (with a therapist from Ascent at his side) at the same elementary school we graduated from!
Along with our parents, we co-founded the AYABA Program and 4BOYZ Autographs to Battle Autism. In addition to 4BOYZ ABA helping run the silent auctions for the Ascent School for Autism on Long Island, it donates all of the sports and entertainment autographed memorabilia for the annual AYABA Sports and Entertainment Student Volunteer Fundraiser and also contributes hand signed pieces to other children related charities across Long Island and NYC. Also know that Conor is our equal partner in 4BOYZ Autographs, and it is our hope and dream that some day he will become the PRESIDENT of our company! Lastly, please remember that any purchase from our EBAY store plays a part in allowing us to donate autographed memorabilia to so many worthy causes.
We appreciate your taking the time to hear our story, and thank you for hopefully becoming part of a great group...special people helping those with special needs.
Best Regards,
