Thank you in advance for taking the time to visit our website, and hope you find the various links both informative, rewarding and fun. Given that 1 in every 150 children are now currently diagnosed with autism, having a sense of community and the chance to make a difference to those not as fortunate as ourselves is so important!
You can make a difference by volunteering for the Ascent Youth Alliance to Battle Autism (AYABA) Program (please click on the link to the left for the Ascent Youth Alliance for more information on how to volunteer). Please, scroll down below for more information on the event. AYABA, a program of the 501C3 Ascent Funding Organization, is a small army of student volunteers helping local children impacted by autism reach their full potential-by not only raising funds necessary for their education and enhancement of their socialization skills but by promoting awareness, tolerance and acceptance as well. 4Boyz ABA donates autographed memorabilia for the AYABA Student Volunteer Fundraiser and over 25 autism and children related charities across Long Island, NYC and New Jersey.
Our main event is the 2009 AYABA Student Volunteer Sports & Entertainment Autism Awareness, Tolerance & Acceptance Baseball, Hockey, Golf & Bowling Fundraiser. As a small token of thanks from the amazing autism and other disability related non-profits that are the beneficiaries of the event, all certified student volunteers will:
* Receive either (i) 2 tickets to their choice of a 2009 AYABA sponsored Islanders or Mets game, (ii) a piece of authentic hand signed sports or entertainment memorabilia (note: the level of memorabilia awarded will be based on the volunteer’s dedication, passion, commitment and/or performance in impacting the lives of children with autism) or (iii) a piece of woman’s apparel from nationally recognized designer Yoo Lee and her company Saja Inc.;
* Attend a FREE Bowling, Ticket & Memorabilia Party at Syosset Lanes on Friday, October 30, 2009 with a guest; and
* Receive an executive title to be prouldy displayed on their future college application and job resume.
Our names are Sean, Ryan and Kyle, and we attend school in Syosset on Long Island. Our younger brother Conor is an unbelievable kid who attended the Ascent School for Autism for over 5 years and now, due in large part to the generosity of our local community and people such as you, he is a full-time student (with a therapist from Ascent at his side) at the same elementary school we graduated from!
Along with our parents, we co-founded the AYABA Program and 4BOYZ Autographs to Battle Autism. Also know that Conor is our partner in 4BOYZ Autographs, and it is our hope and dream that some day he will become the PRESIDENT of our company!
We appreciate your taking the time to hear our story, and thank you for hopefully becoming part of a great group...special people helping those with special needs.

Conor's World: Watch This!
August 17 , 2009
Our inspiration in founding AYABA and 4BOYZ was our little brother Conor, who on his 2nd birthday was diagnosed with autism. Due in large part to the generosity of people hopefully like yourself, Conor has gone from not speaking, playing, looking you in the eye or having virtually any interaction with our family to speaking beautifully, reading and doing math at or beyond grade level and best of all, being a truly happy boy and an integral part of our everyday life. PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT TO WATCH THE SHORT VIDEO OF CONOR PLAYING WHEEL OF FORTUNE...YOU WILL SEE THE DIFFERENCE THAT HAS BEEN MADE IN CONOR'S LIFE AS A DIRECT RESULT OF THE GENEROSITY OF PEOPLE LIKE YOU WHO HAVE CONTRIBUTED TO THE GREAT AUTISM PROGRAMS IN OUR REGION!

Dear Friends & Family:
We are proud to say that we are the youth Co-Founders and Co-Chairmen of the Ascent YouthAlliance to Battle Autism (AYABA) Program and 4BOYZ Autographs to Battle Autism (4BOYZ). It would be greatly appreciated if you could please take a moment for us to tell you a few things about the AYABAProgram and how you may be able to help. We trust that you will agree that having a sense of community is so important!
More incredibly, with an Ascent aide at his side he now attends the same elementary school that we graduated from on a full time basis in a self-contained class, and he gives us hope that some day he will become the President of both AYABA and 4BOYZ!
AYABA is a small army of student volunteers across the metropolitan area trying to make a difference for children not as fortunate as themselves. The AYABA Program, through the efforts of its student volunteers and 4BOYZ, currently supports over 25 autism programs and other children related charities in the region. It is our belief that in its own small way, the student volunteers of the AYABA are helping local children impacted by autism reach their full potential…by not only raising funds necessary for their education and enhancement of their socialization skills but by promoting awareness, tolerance and acceptance as well. With a little “nudging” from our parents, we donated the majority of our childhood savings and our bar-mitzvah gifts into 4BOYZ, which donates sports and entertainment memorabilia and sponsors silent and live auctions for dozens of non-profit fundraising events geared towards raising money for kids with special needs.
In 2008, AYABA grossed approximately $115,000, which after deducting event expenses, allowed AYABA to (a) make grants in excess of $20,000 to 7 different regional autism programs, (b) provide funding to the Ascent School for Autism in excess of $60,000 and (c) donate nearly 400 tickets to Mets and Yankees games to underprivileged children in Harlem and the Lower East Side and to families impacted by children with special needs.
You can help by either (a) purchasing tickets to AYABA sponsored Islander or Met games, (b) taking out a sponsorship starting at $195 which include tickets, memorabilia, golf Packages, experiences and more, (c) participating in ouronline “Donate & Buy It Now” Silent Auction on our website or by making a donation big or small (accessed by clickingon the AYABA link on the right side of the page on the www.ayabany.org website), (d) referring us a studentvolunteer to perform EASY, FUN and REWARDING Community Service and/or (e) forwarding this letter and theattached flyer on to your friends, family and business associates. Please know that all volunteers receive an executive title to proudly display on their college application AND their choice of either (i) 2 FREE Mets or Islander Tix, (ii) Sports Memorabilia or (iii) Woman’s Designer Clothing, along with Admission to a FREE Bowling, Pizza, Ticket & Memorabilia Party @ Syosset Lanes on Friday, October 30, 2009.
If you would like more information on how you can help the AYABA Program build a foundation for both a better today and tomorrow, please email our Dad atlarryhaber@colgaterea.com or call Larry at 917-362-9413. More information about the program and the Ascent School can be found on www.ayabany.org, www.4boyzautographs.com or www.ascentschool.org.
Thanks again for your help and being part of a great group...special people helping those with special needs.
